This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s and features a beautiful white barn from the Kansas prairie. Acrylic paints and authentic ephemera (receipts, letters, journal and farmers almanac clippings from the late 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
