Stories Told II, 8" x 8"

Regular price

Oh all the stories this barely-standing house could tell. Originally built in the 1700s and passed down many times until the death of the last owner, it is reported that a secret benefactor/trust has prepaid the taxes on this house until 2050, though it's doubtful that it will still be standing by then as it is in grave condition. This mixed media original is comprised of my photography with muted acrylic paints and layers of vintage letters, photos and a local postcard to create a haunting, vintage inspired piece of contemporary art.

**This piece is currently on exhibit at the Maple & Main Gallery and is available for purchase directly from the gallery in Chester, CT, at their site or by calling (860) 526-6065**
