Box Car Homestead, 6" x 6"

Regular price $100.00

This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s series and features old freight cars turned into homes on the Nebraska prairie - Depression era recycling that has made a resurgence of late.  Acrylic paints and authentic vintage ephemera (farming/ranching journals, receipts and letters from the 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
