This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s series and features a sheepherder, his wagon and horse on the Montana prairie.  Acrylic paints and authentic vintage ephemera (farming/ranching charts, letters, and maps from the 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
