A small family run grain elevator. Known as beacons of the prairie, grain elevators speak to the agricultural past of the West/Mid-West. This original piece of artwork incorporates acrylic paints, pencils, pastels and authentic vintage ephemera (including clippings from a 1950s Western magazine, 1800s farmer's almanac, ledgers and letters) anchored by my photography. A contemporary piece of agricultural art/industrial art with a vintage aesthetic.
