I've always been drawn to red rocks, a place so different than where I grew up (in heavily treed, humid and coastal New England) so my mind was blown when I first visited Moab, Utah, where Arches National Park is located. It really had a great impact on me and this is one of several pieces related to this special spot. This piece blends paint, vintage ephemera and my photography to make a unique, piece of original art.
Inspired by my passion for travel and nature, my mixed media art pieces tell a unique story through the quiet scenes captured, the vintage ephemera incorporated and the touches of paint that when combined creates a new piece that is greater than the sum of its parts.
• 2.5" x 3.5" x .5" (64 x 89 x 13mm) • original art on wood block with keyhole slot • sides painted black; backside signed • sealed in UV protective satin varnish

Bring fond memories of travel and the tranquility of nature into your space.
