The wide open spaces and open roads of the West make the journey as enjoyable as the destination and as such, I love taking long road trips out West. This image of a steam train water station was taken on such a trip, crossing from Colorado into New Mexico. This piece blends paint, vintage ephemera and my photography to make a unique, piece of original art.
Inspired by my passion for travel and nature, my mixed media art pieces tell a unique story through the quiet scenes captured, the vintage ephemera incorporated and the touches of paint that when combined creates a new piece that is greater than the sum of its parts.
