I Left my Heart in Eldorado, 36"x36"

The gorgeous flatirons in Boulder, CO are, for many, the gateway to the Rocky Mountains. It is a view that I drove by daily when I worked in Boulder and was never without awe at its sweeping presence.  It is home to several parks, including Eldorado State Parks and whenever I return back to CO, my heart aches to be back in this space, hence the title. This is an original piece of art, layered with acrylic paints, my photography and vintage ephemera (including vintage ledgers, vintage photos of Colorado, old maps, letters, postcards from/to Colorado and more).  This is a statement piece and certainly a unique piece of fine art.
