Former Feed, 24" x 24"

Regular price

Grain elevators, known as beacons of the prairie, are slowly disappearing in small towns as they are often abandoned and left to the elements that wear them down.  This original piece of artwork incorporates acrylic paints, pencils, pastels and authentic vintage ephemera (including clippings from an 1800s train ledger, vintage photos, area maps, receipts and ledgers) anchored by my photography of a former Purina feed elevator.  A contemporary piece of agricultural art/industrial art with a vintage aesthetic.
