This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s and features Farmers Union grain elevator and general store in KansasAcrylic paints and authentic ephemera (receipts, ledgers, newspaper and farmers almanac clippings from the late 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
