Alpine Farm, 12" x 16"

A worn barn amidst a field of summer wildflowers in the shadow of a mountain range; this is Colorado. This piece blends authentic vintage ephemera, acrylic paints and my photography of this scene in Crested Butte, CO, my favorite place in all of Colorado (or anywhere else for that matter!). Several layers of paint and paper gives a local and historical perspective to this piece and a modern twist to this beautiful landscape.
