An abandoned gas station at the state line of Nebraska and Wyoming - a surprisingly quiet, peaceful scene if not rustic. This original piece of artwork incorporates acrylic paints, pencils, pastels and authentic vintage ephemera (including motor ads from a 1940s travel magazine, various ledgers from the 1800s and vintage letters) anchored by my photography. A contemporary piece of agricultural art/industrial art with a vintage aesthetic.
