Crossing into the Rockies, 24" x 36"

The Front Range of Colorado is known for it's beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains to the West.  This pieces features the view from a railroad crossing that acts as a figurative crossing into the Rockies.  This mixed media painting incorporates my photography with vintage ephemera (letters, maps, ledgers, photos) and acrylic paints and pastels to create a unique piece of contemporary Western Art.

Specifications:
• measures 24" x 36" x 1.5"
• original painting on cradled wood with open back
• sides painted black, backside signed with artist info
• sealed with UV protective matte varnish
