For Now, Home, 5" x 7"

Regular price

From the Transient Set in my Life in the 30s series, this piece pays homage to the hundreds of thousands of homeless families and migrant farm workers who were barely holding with immeasurable courage and faith for a change in conditions during the Great Depression.  Acrylic paints and vintage documents (including a first edition page from the Grapes of Wrath) are layered above and below a vintage image from the 30s to lend an aesthetic yet historical perspective to this piece of original art.
