Front Range Cows, 12" x 12"

Regular price

A bucolic scene of cows grazing beneath the foothills to the Rockies - a scene that is all too infrequent given the extraordinary population growth and development of the rural lands on the Front Range of Colorado.  This mixed media painting incorporates layers of acrylic paints and vintage ephemera (including pieces from a 1800s farmers almanac, ledger, newspaper clippings and letters) with my photography. A neutral palette rounds out this quiet piece of vintage inspired art.
