Great Sand Dunes, 9" x 12"

A picturesque sight in Colorado, these sand dunes are created by the Sangre de Cristo mountain range stopping the windblown sands being swept across the high desert. This original mixed media artwork incorporates layers of acrylic paints, inks, papers and my own photography from the Great Sand Dune National Park to create a unique take on an already unique combination of sands and mountains.
