Humble Tower, 12" x 12"

I love a rusty water tower, it's gritty, industrial yet charming as well. This piece incorporates my photography of such a tower with layers of acrylic paints and authentic vintage ephemera (including receipts, letters and ads from the late 1800s/early 1900s) to create a contemporary piece that is part realism, part abstract.
