This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s and features a railroad employee loading cans of milk onto the Denver & Rio Grande Western train. Acrylic paints and authentic ephemera (railroad receipts, ledgers and newspaper clippings from the late 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
