Old Rt. 66 Rest Stop, 6" x18"

A 1950s trading post/rest stop, popular on the Old Route 66 in New Mexico.  This mixed media painting layers my photography with acrylic paints and vintage mid-century ephemera (receipts, ads, ledgers, etc.) to create a nostalgic piece of contemporary western art.

Specifications:

• original painting on cradled wood with open back 
• sealed with UV protective matte varnish and signed
