So many tobacco barns, a vital part of the agricultural past of northern CT and central MA, have been disappearing or fallen under grave disrepair.  However there is a renewed interest in preserving these relics reusing them in other agricultural ways. This piece features my photography of 3 tobacco barns on the horizon and incorporates my photography with layers of acrylic paints and ephemera (including a local, vintage postcard, vintage photos of a tobacco workers, tickets and ledgers).  A contemporary piece of original art with a vintage twist.
