This piece comes from the Communities Set in my Life in the 30s series and features railroad cars and the water tower for the steam locomotives at the Rio Grande Royal Gorge rail yardAcrylic paints and authentic vintage ephemera (Colorado journals, railroad receipts and ledgers from the late 1800s/early 1900s) layered with a vintage image from the 1930s lends an aesthetic quality and historical perspective to this piece of original mixed media art.
