Stanley Mill II, 6"x6"

Regular price

This original piece of artwork features part of the Stanley Tools Factory in New Britain, CT which is sadly in the process of being demolished despite community and preservation group efforts to save the historic buildings.  A piece of history that will soon be gone.

This mixed media painting is layered with my photography of the building, vintage documents, acrylic paints and oil pastels to create a unique, vintage inspired piece of industrial art.  This is the one-of-a kind original, not a reproduction.

• artwork measures 6"x6" on a wood block
• block is then set within a 7"x7"x1.5" natural wood floating frame
• backside is signed, titled and comes with artist info
• sealed with UV protective matte varnish
• wired and ready to hang

Room views may not be to scale and colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

Bring a truly unique piece of historical yet contemporary art into your space.
